The girls were super excited for the first day of school. They all had matching outfits picked out but Little Miss decided that wasn’t what she wanted to wear. I wasn’t about to force the issue. I wanted her to feel comfortable and confident on her first day of school.
First day of school outfits.
Kelsi started 6th grade. It is crazy how fast they are all growing up. She had to be dropped off first because her school starts at 7:45. We didn’t get a picture of her with her teachers but here is one of her and a friend (Kalista). Sixth grade is a new adventure for Kelsi. She started at a new school, with a new way of doing things. She has to carry all of her stuff with her and rotate from classroom to classroom. She does have a homeroom teacher though. This year it is Mrs. Julie Cook.
Shaylee started 4th grade. She didn’t start at a new school but things did change a little for her. She has a homeroom teacher, Mrs. Karen Hogan, but the other 4th grade teachers rotate from class to class teaching their subjects to each class. She is excited about a new school year and that her teacher has gerbils. She loves animals.
Courtney started Kindergarten this year. It is so crazy to see all my babies growing up. Especially my littlest baby. She was so excited to start school this year. She already felt so comfortable at the school from being there so much with me for PTO and PE. She already knows many
of the people and where things are. She has such a excitement for life. She is going to have a great year. The teacher she ended up with was Mrs. Ruth Vining.
Here are some pictures of their outfits for the next two days of school.
Second day of school outfits.
Kelsi has really been into having her nails done so I had to include the nail shot.
They actually were able to convince Courtney to were some of the other matching outfits on the 2nd and 3rd day of school.
Third day of school outfits.
