Remember Me

I have seen this pop up on 2 different blogs today, and it looked cute so here it goes. Here's how you play:1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory of you. It's actually pretty funny to the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember the cafeteria at EAC, where we became friends. :)

Where do I start? What memory do you site when it is your 'bosom friend' you are referring to? How about crazy hairdos in your basement for our sleeovers and the whole 'party pooper' fiasco. Or rooming together at college, or Band and Sports in high school or being maid and matron of honor at each others weddings, or group dates with Billy and Dave or...or...or... Love you so much Cindy!

I guess the one that stands out is you, Nora, and Jennifer dressed at a Three Musketeers candy bar for Halloween. That was an awesome costume!! But nothing can top my happiness in Nora having you as a best, forever friend

I remember that we clean our rooms the same, we would put everything in a pile first and then we would clean. It would Drive Carol and Tamra crazy. I still don't get why we didn't just share a room. And thanks for the Anniversary note.

Wow, I totally remember cleaning your bedroom like that!! We would even use a broom on that horrible carpet to sweep it into a pile! I also think that I helped clean the kitchen at you house more then I ever did at my own. I remember that awfull 9 grain cereal that you used to eat all the time, yuck. Here is one for Nora to read. Remember our friendship board. We were all going to be friends, and Nora and I were going to stop fight over you, we even sealed it with our blood. Crazy kids. I must admit though I am not at all proud of the way I acted as a child. I would like to blame it on having 5 older brothers who bullied me around, but we make our own choices.

Hey Cindy and Jeremy, this is Jenny (Trimble now Witt) from way back when at EAC. I found your blog on another friend's blog.

I remember getting rides from Jeremy from EA to Peoria and how he was so in love with Cindy and would tell me how wonderful she was. I also remember looking through his CD case for something to listen to on a Sunday and having to skip over a million Def Leppard CDs before picking Michael McLean.

I also remember Cindy coming in to the front desk at Campus Heights with your little girl all bundled up in fleece. I still have the blanket you gave me for Isaac's baby shower: a blue one with clouds.

I hope you don't mind me reading. I have a blog as well if you're interested. I can send you an invite to your email.

It is so hard to pick just one or even narrow it down. We had so many good times in high school. How about Amber and I begging you to put our nicknames in your valedictorian speech, or in History when we would talk all the time. Despite all of the craziness, I think my best and favorite memory is that you were and are such an amazing example of true friendship. You never pushed the church on me nor required it to be your friend. One of the things that brought me to where I am today was your friendship and example. I am truly thankful for that.
