I just recieved this e-mail. How exciting! I can hardly wait. It is such a blessing to have temples at all let alone one just a couple of miles away.

The First Presidency has announced the opening dates for The Gila Valley Arizona Temple as follows:
OPEN HOUSE: Friday, April 23 to Saturday, May 15, 2010 (except Sundays)
CULTURAL CELEBRATION: Saturday, May 22, 2010
DEDICATION: Sunday, May 23, 2010 (three sessions: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 3:00 p.m.)
OPENS FOR ORDINANCES: Monday, May 24, 2010

It was announced in Sacrament Meeting today. I, too, am so excited. I am hoping we can get Derek and his family and Michael and his wife to go with us even if we have to go twice.
